A rather large notice is pinned to the board, overtaking some of the smaller requests for assistance from the needy. At the bottom in wax is pressed the heraldry of the templar order.
Knight-Commander Holden of the Denerim Chantry is offering a reward for information regarding apostates and apostate activity in the capital city. Reward to be paid if information leads to apprehension.
Unauthorized mages and suspected blood mages shall be dealt with swiftly and in accordance with the maximum penalty the law allows.

What a boring day. Damantus had walked around the city doing a bit of sight-seeing and seeing if he could drum up a bit of business. Since arriving in Denerim, Damantus hadn’t really done what he intended to do when he got to Ferelden…and that was work. The whole point of him coming to this mud ridden country was to earn enough coin so he could live out the latter part of his life in comfort. But so far he had been suckered into going on an adventure with a barbarian and an…Damantus shuddered…Orlesian then to make matters worse, Damantus actually began working for said Orlesian. Damantus desperately needed to branch out.
And so Damantus went to the Chantry Board in search of a well-paying job. Damantus had been making frequent appearances at the board for the past few days. He had seen nothing that interested him. Either there were notices for someone needing a roof thatched or going on some silly trek outside the city. Damantus would definitely stay away from those jobs…they ended up costing more than the reward itself.
This time when Damantus arrived at the Chantry Board, he noticed one difference…one very LARGE difference. There was a large poster covering the others. Damantus peered at the poster and read. Apostates…Templars…blah blah. It seemed every person and his cat had an opinion about this. A few people nearby were discussing the reasons behind the Circle while another was debating for personal freedoms.
Damantus didn’t care. He was not here to fight for the Maker or for freedom but rather for coin. Damantus made a mental note of this Knight-Commander Holden being the man to see about payment. Damantus didn’t know of any apostates within the city…well none that he could remember at that moment.
Any apostate Damantus metwould be handed over to the Templars from this day forth…at least that was the plan as long as Damantus was in Denerim. It didn’t look like there was anything specific the Knight-Commander wanted done. Damantus would just have to keep an ear out. Damantus sighed, turned about and made his way back to the marketplace.
