Born in the quiet town of Gwaren, Lee Walton grew up living a simple, humble life as a fisherman and a logger. This upbringing forged the young boy into an honorable adult, prompting him to take up arms in defense of Teryn Loghain. Though it irked him to slay his fellow countrymen in the royalists, he continued to faithfully service Loghain Mac Tir until his untimely death at the Landsmeet. Even after Loghain died, Walton continued to service the Terynin of Gwaren with his sword and shield. Though he's noble and forthright in his actions, he's not completely devoid of ambition. He seeks to impress the Teryn and in exchange recieve the title of Bann, a dream a centuries worth of Waltons have tried to achieve. When's he's not on duty, he likes to converse with bar patrons and other folks. He likes sharing a beer with his comrades after a long day's fight in the fields.
Centuries ago, the Waltons were Banns of a place called Whisper Den in the Bannorn. While not a powerful holding, the Waltons enjoyed the power and titles they shared as Dog Lords. But the Waltons would fall, as a rival family named the Kinsleys burned Whisper Den to the ground. According to Walton oral tradition, Dayne Walton had forced himself upon Bann Kinsley's daughter, resulting in a bastard. With their lands raised, army crushed, and alliances shattered, the Waltons took refuge in the town of Gwaren. There, generations of Waltons would dedicate themselves to fishing and logging, though they would always remember as Banns. During the Orlessian Rebellion, a soldier named Ron had a child with an orlessian runaway named Curie. The two had fallen in love, and Ron promised Curie he'd take her back to Gwaren. Though she was looked down at first, soon most people didn't care about her and Ron. Their child was a boy named Lee, a young lad full of determination and spirit. In his youth he'd aid his father in fishing and logging endeavors. At home, his mother taught him about Orlais while she cooked, and grandfather told him about the Walton's history as Banns. This inspired Lee to try and restore their family to promenance and glory in Ferelden. When Civil War broke out, Lee saw his chance to prove his loyalty and worth to Teryn Loghain. Though fighting his countrymen irked him greatly, but he knew that serving Loghain would benefit his family and the realm. Though Loghain died at the Landsmeet, Lee continued to fight under the banner of a United Ferelden against the darkspawn. After Denerim, he made his way home to a proud family who saw him as a hero for his Terynin and Country. He still serves to this day, fighting for the current ruler of Gwaren to secure land and titles for his family.
